In a recent episode of his show, which aired just prior to his confirmation as the FBI’s second-in-command, Dan Bongino issued a significant warning to Senator Adam Schiff, who has been a proponent of the Russiagate narrative. The progressive Democrat was cautioned that he would encounter consequences for his attempts to undermine the democratic process by disparaging President Trump. Viewers online expressed their enthusiasm for the clip Bongino shared on X, relishing the notion that the newly appointed FBI Deputy Director would be targeting the widely unpopular Adam Schiff.
To provide context, the narrative of Russian collusion, which alleged that Trump colluded with the Russian government, was prevalent throughout his initial term. This fabrication was echoed by Democratic politicians, media personalities, and activists in an effort to delegitimize the president. Adam Schiff emerged as one of the most vocal advocates of this falsehood.
Bongino commenced his comments by applying pressure on Schiff. He remarked, “I’m in a particularly good mood today… He is on fire. Schiff [has a] 100% success rate of failing. Why is Adam Schiff so worried? Folks, I strongly encourage you to go back and take another look today at the Russia collusion hoax.”
He elaborated on the numerous influential groups that were complicit in perpetuating the hoax. Bongino further stated, “I know it’s a story that’s old, and a lot of people want to move on. I’m going to be straight with you. I don’t want to move on. We had the FBI, in conjunction with the Department of Justice officials in Congress, foreign governments, and Intel people, fabricate a story, invent a story that could have caused and done serious, long-term harm to international relations with a nuclear-powered foe.”
The previous Fox News anchor reminded his viewers of the ongoing significance of this narrative and indicated his intention to hold Schiff responsible. He stated, “This is quite a significant matter. I will not let it slide. And mark my words, this will be crucial in the days ahead. I refuse to overlook this. I seek to uncover the truth because such an event must never recur. Not for a Democrat, not for a Republican, not for a Libertarian, and not for any citizen of the United States.”
Bongino wrapped up his comments, making it clear that Schiff would face the repercussions of his actions. He contended, “You cannot modify or attempt to redirect the trajectory of electoral politics by concocting a narrative, commandeering the justice system, and then presenting a false story as if it were true. That is unacceptable. Why do I mention this now? Because who orchestrates that spectacle? Indeed, Adam Schiff. And no, I will not let this go.”
